Marketers are planning for Q1 2009 and beyond and there’s no doubt that budgets are being asked to go farther and last longer. As someone said to me at a trade show a few weeks ago, “We’re squeezing every penny until Abe Lincoln screams.”

Thankfully comScore and Reprise Media are teaming up to present a one hour webinar on Thursday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m. ET/ 11:00 a.m. PT called “Adding Paid Search Muscle to Your Marketing in a Weak Economy.”  My idea of calling it “Make Abe Lincoln Scream with Search Marketing” was sadly shot down (not in Ford’s theatre).

Eli Goodman will be leading the presentation of comScore data. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Eli and seeing firsthand his ability to extract nuggets of insight from raw data fields. If you haven’t experienced the deep braininess of the comScore folks this is a great chance to get a concentrated shot of knowledge from some of the smartest people in the online metrics industry.

Josh Stylman, Managing Partner at Reprise Media will be weighing in with his insights from a search engine marketing perspective, bringing stories and real-world examples from behind the numbers to illustrate how search marketing can amplify all marketing efforts online and off, and do so in a cost-effective way.
