“We’ve experienced a marked decline in productivity today,” reports Reprise Media’s Josh Stylman, “that after thorough analysis, I’ve traced to the company’s recent installation of a Nintendo Wii.” Indeed, empty seats were littered around the Reprise Media office. “We’re going to need a waiver for the Wii,” continued Stylman, “half of our CS team is out with tennis elbow.”

Others at Reprise Media, however, had differing definitions of “productivity”. Associate Media Manager Jocelyn Bourguingnon, for example, argued that the Wii “is a team building exercise,” and furthermore, “it’s Friday.” Systems Engineer Jason Miesionczek claimed that he was “testing the new system for bugs,” while Dan Kashman, VP of Corporate Development said, “I’m researching potential revenue opportunities in the in-game advertising space.” Moments later Dan added, “…and I’m heavily invested in Best out of Five.”

His doubles partner, Gordon Hartin, had no comment.
