  • Marketers On Demand: A group of some pretty hefty companies, including Colgate-Palmolive and Ford, are demanding concrete traffic stats from online advertisers. So they want accountable standards for online data collection? Yeah, welcome to the club.
  • Fatty McPhoto: The largest digital photo on the internet has been identified – an 8.6 Gigapixel composite of the Parete Gaudenziana, a fresco from Vercelli Italy.
  • DIY TV Ads: Spot Runner, a company that uses cookie-cutter techniques to make tv ads a possibility for small and medium sized businesses, has raised $40 million in funding from major advertising companies and CBS.
  • Conspiracy Theory Alert: Search Engine Watch reports on a post claiming that Google is “in bed” with the CIA. A former CIA agent apparently came forward to reveal Google’s secret dealings with the agency. Is this a Halloween prank, or something to be honestly scared of?
