All Work and No Play…

Well, we all know how the rest of that goes. Luckily, it’s not us. We do sometimes get out of the office and have a good time – and sometimes we have a little fun even without leaving the office. Anyway, since we thought it was a good time to update our “SEM dating profile” with a few pictures, here’s proof that we get out and about to rock and roll, from our trip out to Coney Island. For starters, there’s some of us on the left, enjoying the delicious, healthy fare at Nathan’s Original hot dog stand.

From there, we waddled over to Keyspan Park, home of the Brooklyn Cyclones single-A baseball squad. Not sure if you can see it, but it’s 2-0 Visitors in this shot, and it, uh, didn’t get any better from there. Luckily, we still managed to enjoy ourselves with a surplus of picture-taking gadgets. Hey, just how we roll.

After the game, we took in some more local color. No trip down to Coney Island is really complete without a good, clean session of shoot the freak. Not to worry, the freak had pads. And a wooden shield. And we were just shooting paint balls. I mean, it’s not hurt the freak, right?

Ahem. After that exertion, we needed some refreshment. So we put our collars up (so many cameras, and yet no red-eye reduction!) and headed next door to Cha Cha’s to enjoy a few beverages and take in some live music. We don’t know who these guys are, exactly, but they were totally punk rock.

We weren’t quite done, ever after that. We went down to Coney to see a Cyclone kick butt, and we weren’t going to leave until we found one. Yeah, we rode the rickety old Cyclone coaster, and we liked it (well, most of us), even if we got thrown around a little on some of the turns. That’s a couple of us in the front car, in fact. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’re a little sore today for some reason…
