Search Engine Watch was one of the first out the gate with reports of rumors on the launch of a Google service called (oddly enough) “Google Health”.
Today there’s some additional info coming to the fore, including confirmation from Google in the form of an email to Danny Sullivan.
Here’s an excerpt:
“Health has been an area of interest at Google for some time. We (including Adam) have been doing a variety of research in this area, including how to improve the quality of health-related search results.”
If you want the real lowdown, check out this post from Philipp Lenssen of Google Blogoscoped. He’s been on the story from the start.
Nice perspective on how Google is going to use all this from Malaysian blogger Jamloceng, though his English could use a little work (as I’m sure could my Malay).
Speaking of health, GE is taking over Times Square today as part of some sort of healthy living promotion. There will be free bottles of water and fitness tips as well as the opportunity to upload a photo here and have it shown on a gigantic billboard in Times Square (don’t worry, we don’t get what that has to do with health, either).

Ok, my English is not at the best standard
. BTW, thank you for backlinking my blog.
