March 8th is International Women’s Day and, unlike last year, there are no special logos on Google. Maybe the artist was burnt out from creating all those boring lovely Olympic doodles?

In any event, check out this Women’s Day news round-up and then catch up with one of my favorite female trailblazers, ape great Jane Goodall who’s marketing her own brand of chimp-safe coffee.

Oh yea, there’s also these links:

SCANDAL! Rockstar Games is marketing a game 100% free of sex, violence or drugs. But don’t worry about the industry getting too clean, a deal’s now in place for “Family Guy: The Game”.

Careful, You Might Learn Something While the rest of America was scarfing popcorn and talking about the Oscars, the gang at Search Engine Journal was debating real issues like censorship, the Internet and the government’s role in it. Nerds.

It’s Nothing Personal A woman who got ripped off buying a wedding dress on eBay is told by her scammer: “I just scammed you…and it pays well.”

Keep Your Friends Close… And your Gmail account closer. That’s the lesson learned by this man who says that Google deleted his entire email account.

What’s That? You want to see a video filled with cats who can sing American folk songs??? Well, OK but this is the last time.
