With an estimated 200 beta testers, the cryptic code name “CL2″ and screenshots leaked left and right, Google Calendar is one of search engine’s worst-kept secrets.

Media buzz says that the new calendar will integrate with Google’s Gmail service and use SMS notification. The calendar will also allow for public sharing of calendar listings, including the ability to share your listings with those not using the program.
