If that new Treo you bought isn’t all you hoped it would be or you got a kick in the teeth from your cable company then head on over to Consumerist.com, the latest addition to the Gawker Media network.

From the opening manifesto:

“You’ll tell us when you’ve been royally screwed by yet another company, and we’ll channel your rage. Together we will storm the revolving doors of faceless corporations to call them naughty words for genitals, and they will begin to fear us. The Consumerist. Capitalism is broken. We’ll help you fix it.”

Though the graphic design leaves a little to be desired the writing is the same great stuff we’ve come to expect from a Gawker site.

Two cool things: a growing section of the site devoted just to Wal-Mart and an entry critiquing the new formulation of NyQuil, proving products rants needn’t be confined to high-priced yuppie electronics.

I have been using Incredimail for several years
now. Recently, I purchased a new Acer laptop
with Vista. Since this acquisition I have had
    difficulties with Incredimail—can’t change the
notifer; can’t alter the skin; can’t download an
update that appears on their website as well as
others. I can only use the ‘basic mail function’.
I also know that a lot of software is not in sync
with Vista yet and most companies are working on
it. I am guessing that is wny I am having these
problems because I CAN’T reach a single solitary
soul at Incredimail. I have their Premium XE and
I am supposed to receive expedited tech support.
I sent an e-mail to their CONTACT US from their
website and received a confirmation #. That was
about a week ago and I have heard nothing. I
eventually determined that they are based in Israel and tried calling during their business
hours (10 hours later) and received a recorded
voice which I can not understand as it is in
Hebrew. I also sent an e-mail to their corporate
office and have received no response.
Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thank you.
