First up is AOL who today announced the launch of AOL Vegas, part of a partnership with Vegas.com and the latest addition to the AOL CityGuide network. The site will feature original content, shopping and travel information as well as photo guides, video and a blog from Robin Leach. Here’s to comped cocktail wishes and $5 dollar buffet dreams! Perhaps taking a cue from the popular MTV show Yahoo just announced the launch of Yahoo Autos Custom, a product for individuals who get a little cuckoo over customizing their cars. Included is an installer search and a specialized search engine that returns results from leading car enthusiast sites. The Yahoo Blog has the full story, including a peek at some Yahoo employees’ cars (btw, we’re wondering what the Yahoo HR Department has to say about this employee who named his vehicle after an obvious reference to weed).
