Stateside Apple doesn’t appear to need any help pushing its iPod device but in Sony dominated Japan it’s always good to have a little additional help.
Apple just announced they’ll be entering into a partnership with Seven-Eleven Japan to sell iPods in its stores.

Customers can order an iPod at the checkout counter and have it delivered to their home in 2-3 days. The stores will also peddle pre-paid cards for purchasing music at the iTunes Store.
