A couple in Sweden have given their son the rather unfortunate (though I guess it depends on who you ask) middle name of “Google.”

Walid Elias Kai is a Lebanese man who holds a Ph.D in search optimization. Walid and his Swedish wife, Carol Kai gave birth to Oliver Google Kai on September 12th of this year.

They’ve posted photos of the future-playground-punching-bag baby boy here on this this site.

The Google Blog has more, including this funny quote from Karen Wickre of the Google Blog team:

“We wish him long life and good health, and hope his schoolmates aren’t too hard on him.”

You call that pain? I suffer from multiple painful and debilitating illnesses that are incurable and not controlled by medications, and I feel that I have been sentenced to a life of pain or suicide. Can I switch places?
