Technorati CEO and Founder David Sifry attempts to quell some of the recent criticism that’s been leveled at the blog search service in this update on the performance and scalability improvements taking place at the firm.
Over 400 new machines are being adding to the datacenter, keyword search tweaks are being made and Cosmos search (aka URL search) is being given an overhaul.
The last one is a good thing, as SearchViews is still patiently waiting to be picked up in their index. Maybe it’s time to submit a new request. We’ll let you know if Technorati holds true to their 24-hour turnaround time goal.

Erin,
I’m on it personally.
Can you send me the support request reply (should have a ticket number on it) so that I can double check on what went wrong with support? My email is dsifry at technorati dot com.
