No, it’s not an ad for Tic Tacs, although a lot of OMMA attendees would have done well to down a few after spending two days sucking down sugar and caffeinated drinks.

Panel moderator Henry Copeland of BlogAds was talking about the millions of small opportunities advertisers have to connect with their target audiences each day in a panel titled “Is Micromedia in the Wikipedia? (Harnessing Ad Networks, Blogs, Podcasting and other Massive Bundles of Tiny Fragments of Media).

So where can marketers find these “tiny fragments”? Well network sites, individual blogs and podcasts are a just a few of the growing number of available ad properties. Although small in reach, these fragments make up for what they lack in size with audience loyalty and consumer-to-consumer synergies.

This panel boasted a distinguished group of speakers, including: David Yovanno, GM, ValueClick Media; John Hiler, CEO, Xanga; Lily Triantafillou, Media Strategist, Specialopsmedia; Farah Miller, Online Marketing Manager, Random House; Brian Clark, CEO, GMDStudios; and Jeff Montgomery, VP of Sales Strategy, Tribal Fusion.
