A new site built on Google Maps technology allows you to click on a location and see where you’d wind up if you were to dig a hole all the way through the center of the Earth. Try it now.
By way, if I had succeeded from my childhood home in Detroit I would have wound up adrift in the Indian Ocean. I’m not sure my mom would have been very understanding…
