Rojo (pronounced RO-HO) is a web-based RSS reader that offers social networking features (feed sharing, story tagging, comments, etc.) in addition to the standard services most feed readers provide (feed discovery, feed search).
The service was recently reviewed by Duncan Riley of The Blog Herald, check it out here.
The product holds up well when compared to other readers like Bloglines, except for a few small usability glitches: 1. When you click on a feed, the number of posts in the feed remains (in other words, there’s no easy way mark that you’ve read it.) 2. If you open a feed and go back later, all the recent posts are presented, not just the new ones. Both of these mean here’s a good chance of looking at content you’ve already read. This is something for which users have little patience, particularly if they’re reading hundreds of feeds a day.
