Vertical search gets another funding boost this week, with Feedster’s announcement of its first round of venture financing in a press release today. This comes on the heels of news of Become.com, who received a $7.2 million second round injection from corporate venture capital group Transcosmos among others.

Feedster says it’ll use the money to fuel product marketing & development and expand its server infrastructure. Selby Venture Partners is behind the deal, with Joe Kraus of Excite & JotSpot and Scott Kurnit of About.com among the angel investors.

According to the Feedster Blog, the financing was announced just one day after the 10-person California office moved into its new digs. Here’s to movin’ on up.
