
In one of the most unlikely sleepover scenarios of all time, Bono bunked down with Bill Gates last weekend during a tour stop in Seattle. The concert happened to coincide with Microsoft’s Windows Hardware Engineering Conference, an annual show-and-tell for the hardware community.
Though rock-and-rollers and stuffed shirts are typically at odds, Bono and Bill share a similar compulsion to share their ample amounts of cash with those less fortunate. Says Gates:
“We’re big believers that more needs to be done in developing countries. Let me tell you, Bono has had a huge impact.”
