A new version of the Yahoo! Desktop Search beta was unrolled yesterday.

New features include:

• The ability to search Yahoo! Messenger IM conversations.
• The addition of the Yahoo! Address Book to the index.

Both are searchable online and off and are a nice step toward a more full integration of Yahoo! services with desktop search, something Google and MSN have yet to master.
