Russo's appointment comes as Reprise Media opens its Boston office, which will focus primarily on technology development. In his role as CTO, Russo will lead the continued development of tools that will streamline and automate the construction and management of Reprise Media's SEM campaigns. Russo will also provide guidance on Reprise Media's technology roadmap and help in the ongoing assessment of technology partners. Prior to Highland, Russo served as chief architect for all Terra- Lycos properties, including Lycos, HotBot Search, Quote.com and Tripod. During his tenure at Terra-Lycos, Russo was also responsible for building and rolling out search, billing, service infrastructure and data mining technologies, while managing relationships with major technology vendors such as Portal Software, Akamai, Vignette and Microsoft.
