Impressions
The number of times a creative is served on search engine results pages and potentially seen.
Inbound Link
External link pointing towards a website.
Index
Information organized in a search engine database. Commonly used as synonymous to the term 'search engine.'
Internal Links
Links to and from pages within a website. The quantity and quality of internal links for a given page helps determine that page's importance in the overall website hierarchy.
Invisible Web
The group of dynamic or large database sites that search engines will not index.
IP (Internet Protocol)
The standards that enable the transfer of data between dissimilar networks. IP and TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) are the essential components of the Internet.
IP Address
The numeric identification code assigned to every users and every server online.
