Senior Media Analyst

Location: New York

    • Understand client goals and how to maximize those measures of success through tactical strategies and technologies
    • Develop a spending strategy across keyword groups and engine partners
    • Generate and continually expand keyword lists to maximize campaign exposure to a target audience
    • Structure keywords into tactical management groups for maximum accessibility and accountability
    • Create compelling ad copy within search engine specs, with continued testing of creative appeals, messaging and brand positioning
    • Develop and execute testing across campaign variables that create client-specific insight and feed future successions of testing
    • Daily bid-management per keyword/ad-group and general pacing of client budgets
    • Portfolio management of individual keywords at various CPC rates, set against various metrics and benchmarks of success
    • Generate and assemble internal reports, including frontend data and backend accountability
    • Careful attention to salient metrics and price points
    • Maintain and optimize client campaigns to improve overall performance against pre-determined benchmarks on an ongoing basis
    • Design and implement single and multi-variant tests to increase campaign efficiency
    • Develop strong rapport with all search engine and technology vender account teams
    • Leverage knowledge of tracking and analytics technologies such as Atlas, SiteCatalyst, HitBox, and Coremetrics
    • Manage tracking tag creation and implementation
    • Manage trafficking and quality assurance on active campaigns
    • Assist in training of Media Department; providing strategic and tactical support as appropriate
    • Minimum 4-6 years experience working in interactive media (Prior experience at a search engine or interactive advertising agency will be strongly considered)
    • Strong working understanding of the Search Engine Marketing industry, including major players and supporting technology
    • Proven ability to understand high-level client goals and how they translate into media strategy when applied via online technologies
    • Process oriented, with the ability to juggle many tasks at one time. Time management skills are critical
    • Ability to effectively communicate processes and tactics to clients, peers, and junior members of Media team
    • Firm grasp of how to test marketing tactics and achieve performance metrics
    • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Excellent quantitative analysis skills
