Summary
Manage cross-channel media and partnership strategy for the Mediabrands Audience Platform (MAP) international marketplace
Location: New York
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on overall international marketplace media and data strategy
- Architect, negotiate and manage relationships with key global data providers
- Architect, negotiate and manage relationships with key global media publishers; including major media companies, exchanges, SSPs, MSO’s, ad networks and portals
- Manage the recruitment of, and relationships with, long tail media publishers
- Collaborate with the MAP international teams to identify and recruit new client-centric publishers and data providers, while maximizing the value of existing partners
- Identify and collaborate with the broader MAP team to develop new cross-channel offerings and product enhancements
- Collaborate with the Operations, Product and Infrastructure organizations to deliver new international marketplace capabilities
- Architect international media and data capabilities / training (inter and intra organization)
- Manage overall team profitability and client performance
- Oversee day-to-day international marketplace performance and related reporting requirements
- Serve as lead Marketplace liaison to international MAP constituents

- Strong ability to negotiate media deals and terms

- Ability to juggle multiple projects and efficiently manage a team to accomplish goals in global work environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team at multiple levels within a global organization
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- Experience in media sales or business development
- Fundamental knowledge of programmatic buying
- Fundamental knowledge of media optimization, planning, buying and pricing Methodologies
- Fundamental knowledge of online media metrics and analysis
- Fundamental knowledge of data targeting and related capabilities / technologies
- Fundamental understanding of media testing and optimizing to client goals
- Deep understanding of marketing and media strategies; ability to surface ideas / speak to client needs
- Cross-channel experience
- Familiarity with business management and operation principles and concepts
- Large advertising agency or publisher experience
- International media experience a plus
